Mystcraft same dimension ink?

I'm just wondering, how do you fix the ink used to make a linking book that will work in the same dimension? Like a book to a spot in the overworld being used in the overworld.
I know the ability to keep the book in your hand hasn't been implemented yet, right?

Anything with "Intra-linking" is what you're looking for in mixing.

Like Vauthil said right there ^, you need an Ink Mixer and the right ingredients. Making a Link Book that can link within the same dimension requires the "Intra-Linking" modifier. What I find to usually work for getting Intra-Linking is to toss 8 Silver Dust into the ink before making the Link Panel. Make sure to wait a bit after making the link book. It sometimes takes a while for the modifier to show up in the tooltip.

Yeah, it was originally part of the Link Modifier, which had a recipe, which was either six or eight blocks of diamond around three or one gold block. Then the recipe was removed because it was moving to this, but the modifier was still around. I used it in my 1.4.7 world, after voiding the appropriate materials and using cheat mode to get one. Very useful.

You can cheat yourself a Link Modifier which adds, surprise, Modifiers to a Link Book. Only modifiers of interest are Intra-Linking, which lets it link from within the same dimension, and Following, which makes the book stay in your inventory if you use it from your hand instead of just dropping on the ground. With the new Ink Mixer, it's possible to get Intra-Linking, but he hasn't added a way to get Following yet.

Oh, I guess Disarm is a neat modifier too. Makes whoever uses the book/portal drop their entire inventory on the ground before being teleported. Stick the modifier on a linkbook labeled "Valuables Storage" and watch the fun.

Kinda annoying that stuff like "Following" isn't available yet, but the link modifier is removed. Bit backwards.
