Mystcraft Age Spawns

I went into a brand new age (void age) and landed below the platform, then died. *sadface
Not sure if this is a bug or just bad luck, but I figured I'd report it.
Side note: Anyone know a way for me to get out?

I also experienced times where I spawned bellow, but inside the ground bellow (and died in the process of panicking).

Seems to be a known Mystcraft problem that happens mostly on servers.

Also, world corruption in a different age destroyed the book.

As i read mystcraft creators comments in mod thread this is expected for myst universe so it's done in this way: trevel to new age is very dangerous thing.
So always have chance lost way back, etc.

I guess I misinterpreted that part. I didn't realize it would destroy my book. Thankfully, my husband and I can do LAN and OP can /tpx out.

in the future i suggest keeping an enderchest with the default White white white, fill it with link books, then if it happens agian you can simply cheat in an enderpouch and it will by default connect to the chest.

I would also suggest to make the platform with the book to float above the ground, nothing attached to it, it solved the problems of loosing the books in 1.2.5, should still be safe now.
