Problem My Server refuses to let me use cheats...

As it says on the tin. This is my first ever attempt at creating a server(though I do know somethings about running a server, mostly from the player perspective).

I think maybe I'm not OP, but I'm not sure, and I have no idea on how to rectify the that if that is the problem.

/op IGN will op whatever IGN you puts there (you may have to do it from within the console if you cannot do it in the game).

If you are running the server on your PC goto the server window or the CMD window and type /op then your player name then to make someone not op type /deop or /de op then the name. Then once you are OP press "E" on the bottom left of your screen will be a tab click that. The one of the first two tabs open that and it will say cheat mode. Then if you click that and put it back to recipe mode and not cheat anymore. There ya go hope that helps if you real this with out my tab sectioned named it is because I am at school. When I get home I will rename the tabs area. Hope this helps you, if you are renting a server I have no clue then. I am sure you just write the people and tell them to OP your name.
