Hello! Every time a load a big modpack, and with most HQM packs, I get this error:
java.lang.RuntimeException: Can't fit all textures, use lower resolution texture packs or remove mods.
Since many packs don't support removing mods, this is not an option. Is there any mod which will change the rendering engine to use multiple smaller textures instead of one large one? Or is it a requirement for the graphics card for it to be that way, or will I have to learn Java to make the mod myself? Thanks!
Also, I am not using a texture pack other than default if you are wondering. I was planning on posting this in Tech Support, too, but it wouldn't let me use more than 100 characters, and with the nature of this error I can't really post a log. And no, I cannot update my graphics drivers. I have a very old computer with no new ones available.
My operating system: Linux 4.1.15-gentoo-r1 #9 SMP Tue Mar 29 20:17:10 2016 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9450 @ 2.66GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
(Gentoo Linux with kernel version 4.1.15-gentoo-r1)
