my builder wont show the grid lines

I put my blueprint in and it does not show what is need nor does is show the grid lines to where it will build...it builds when I throw materials i know it needs into it but I would like to know where it will start to build

AFAIK builders are still bugged in all of the packs. I wouldn't recommend trying to use one.
