One of the friends playing on my server decided to build next to spawn. Making a castle and cant finish it due to spawn being there and he cant mine the blocks up. Is there anyway i can move spawn so he can mine the blocks? I don't want to OP him as he will probably cheat.
 
You can move it with MCEdit. Just make sure to backup the world first.
 
How do you move it with MCedit, im not sure how the current version works. Also will this change it for everyone then?
 
isn't there a /setworldspawn command? or was that implemented in 1.8

this may also be a solution
