Mouse Glitching Down while playing

I've tried to change my screen resolution as well as making the games properties to be not the computers standard. I don't know why but the mouse glitches to the ground and I can raise it back up but it continues to push to the group even with only slight mouse movement. This problem is making the game impossible to play and I do not know how to resolve it. Help?

Last time something like that happened to me it was due to a dirty mouse and surface.
