Bug Mods not loading properly/some mods not loading at all

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Hey,

So I have set up a Revelations server, and it seems that the number of mods being used in the server is 217, compared to the 237 present in my instance of Revelations. Not sure if this is a problem or not, though if it is, is there a fix?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

Cheers!

There might be difference in the number of mods due to server/client side only mods.

If you downloaded the server pack either from the FTB app, the legacy FTB launcher or Twitch app/curseforge page (version 3.2.0), then you should be good.

Did you download or setup the server in any other way than from that file?

I downloaded the server files from the old FTB launcher. I even checked to make sure that the server files have the same 'config' and 'mods' files, and they do.

Then you should be good.

But with that said, I just checked your log and noticed this:
C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\FTBA server\Revelations Server FTBOLD
(masked your username)

You should not put stuff manually in the AppData folder structure, this will most likely cause issues for you going forward.

Create a new folder somewhere (stay out of other pre-created systems folders), example c:\games\somethingsomething - or other disk if available if you so wish.

I'll try changing folders, see if that fixes the problem, thanks.

I would suggest to do a clean install in the new folder, copying from a old perhaps broken location might cause issues for you going forward.

If you got settings/some world save etc. that you want to get over - sort that out once the server is operational.
