modpack recommended list how should it go like

Mod packs recommended list go a lot should they have a certain amount of money going to the mod authors and a certain set amount. Should they just simply go by percentage of the total amount. Should make it more expensive as more servers are added onto the list charge of more do keep it from getting too big. So if the mod pack having recommended list you can't simply have it for free you have to be reasonable but collecting the money for the mod pack for your self is just disrespectful. So this is the best way I could think of for mod pack to go with their recommended list and I'm just wondering what do you guys think and you have better ideas

For every mod that mod author has in the mod pack they receive five dollars. Evey 5 dollars will add up in total the number of mods in the mod pack. So that will be how much that server owner who wants to get their server on the recommended list, would have to pay to those mod authors so the money is going to the mod authors. They kinda goes like this.

1 slot 5$ * 10 = 50$ for evey month
2 slot 5$ * 10 = 50$ for evey month
3 slot 10$ * 10 = 100$ for evey month
4 slot 10$ * 10 = 100$ for evey month
5 slot 15$ * 10 = 150$ for evey month
6 slot 15$ * 10 = 150$ for evey month
7 slot 20$ * 10 = 200$ for evey month
8 slot 20$ * 10 = 200$ for evey month
9 slot 25$ * 10 = 250$ for evey month
10 slot 25$ * 10 = 250$ for evey month

So the total sum of all the money the mod authors combine will be 1500

I'm sorry if people are confused of how I was saying stuff I'm just stating that. If the recommended lists goes one way how would you stated as. So if you had a recommended lists that benefits the mod authors, how set it up.

Recommended list are stuff that you get an a manically when you download the mod. It would be right there when you open up multiplayer.
