Modpack Crashes

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

I have recently started playing modpacks again, but almost every modpack I launch on the Twitch app crashes. Sometimes they crash on startup, sometimes they crash on loading world, and sometimes they crash while I playing. Sky Factory 2.5 is the only modpack that I have been able to play reliably. I do not think that it has anything to do with my laptop specs, as I am able to run other games that are more hardware extensive. I have done some trouble-shooting, trying to find an answer. Nothing has worked so far. I am allocating 6 Gigs of ram to Minecraft and I have tried reinstalling Java. When the game does crash and I press the "View Crash Log" button, it doesn't open. If anyone knows of anything that can help please give me some advice. Thank you.
