Dear FTB'ers,

Last night I was trying to further automate my farm when I ran into an issue I didn't know a solution to myself: I need to supply my farm with Bog Earth and that requires me to supply water in some sort of container. Since I'd seen DW20's video I figured that indeed a tank turtle might be the solution.

(As the thread title indicates I'm running the DW20 pack, currently on the Recommended version yet the same applied when using v5).

Unfortunately, however, I found out that the tank turtle doesn't exist anymore. I crafted glass, a tank, and an iron wall gauge (hope I have the name correct lol) but none of these would result in a tank turtle.

I found that a liquid turtle could be made and tried that (empty bucket next to a turtle) but that won't pick up any water + fill a bucket.

The reason I'd prefer using buckets is that I get those back rather than having to supply cans (tin or honey). Not even got to beekeeping at all btw.

If anyone would be able to assist in solving this minor problem that would be most appreciated.

Cheers,
Bel*.

You can use simple solution, just fill the buckets using dispenser next to infinite water source.

I have an ACT setup with a liquid transposer that outputs water buckets into a chest next to the ACT. Empty buckets get pumped out of the chest with an advanced wooden pipe (I have addidional bc pipes installed manually, but you could do it with a filter and rp tubes) and back into the liquid transposer. Works like a charm, and I use the same bucket chest for another ACT which makes coolant cells.

You can use a turtle to fill a bucket of water without even miscperipherals. Place the turtle two y-blocks above an infinite spring and turtle.placeDown() while having the bucket selected.

@DoctorOr: I'll once more try doing that (tried doing that last night with a "Liquid Turtle" and that failed to work).

@Dafuq?: I'll try the liquid transposer setup as well...ty.
