Mip-Map not Working

Details of the issue:
In Video Settings when I turn Mip-Mapping on, I slide it up to 4 and when I exit the pause menu the game freezes for a little bit then it resumes however there is no Mip-Mapping taking place. This isn't like a game breaking bug or anything I just like having Mip Mapping.​
