My Minecraft game crashes whenever I attempt to open any pack on the FTB launcher.

Do you really have the 32-bit version of Windows 7, or did you just accidentally install the 32-bit version of Java?

If the prior, then there's not too much we can do for you. If the latter, uninstall the 32-bit version of Java and install the 64-bit version of Java.
