Before the most recent update I had an array of 20-24 or so of magmatic engines being fed by liquiducts more lava than one can shake a stick at, thus each producing 4.0 per tick into the energy conduits and thus filling the redstone energy conduit that's accepting a maximum of 100 per tick.
Yet since the update each engine is now only outputting 0.4 per tick (their minimum) and will not increase. I am running the server on Linux. Again, it worked fine before the update. I can provide any other information that may be needed.
P.S. i do like the new texture of the magmatic engines :3

Negative they are not overheating, when they overheat they stop pumping and emit small smoke particles. These engines are still pumping and are outputting only 0.4 per tick each instead of what they should be, 4.0 per tick. Will try some other stuff now that I am home from class. I still need help though. Will update this thread if I figure it out on my own.

Aha! I'm just dense. When the update happened it reset all the directional connections on the energy conduits somehow. Thus all but 2 of them were pointed down into themselves. So they were kinda overheating, but only because it had nowhere to go with the power, hit the energy conduits with the crescent hammer and BAM 4.0 per tick. Issue solved.

Ahh good to know, this will definitely save some frustration

I have this same problem and I've replaced the engines, I think that if you're outputting too much power (I have 54 magmatic engines :3) that some of them will throttle down if hooked up to conduits to keep them from overheating. I can't be sure though (I use DW20 pack btw)
