MFR farms vs Forestry

I was just wondering which farms to people find more productive/easier/cheaper

MFR is the way to go and not having to find stupid apaites for the Forestry farm and the forestry farm contiuously uses power where MFR machines only use power when it's does something.

Forestry also uses power when needed (maybe it uses some to keep internal buffer full, but it is negligible amount). They show their strength if you upgrade your trees and with 1.5 changes to biomass production from fermenters tree breeding is a lot more rewarding. Instead of hunting apatite you can just make saltpeter farm (one quarry and filler will satisfy all your fertilizer needs).

Appetite is everywhere and spawns in ginormous veins.

that said i'm trying out the mfr farms as soon as i get my power grid setup. i just started yet another world to teach a friend some mods
