Mekanism Sorter help

I'm playing the Direwolf20 1.10.2 mod pack that I've customized. I've added Mekanism and a few other mods. So I've reconfigured my machine room with the Mekanism Logistics sorter and Mekanism Logistic Pipes. So everything is working except the default route. So I've got several large drawers for cobble / dirt / gravel / granite / diorite / etc and the Sorter sorts to those just fine. I set Aqua as the Default, Auto: On, plop down a chest with a Logistics Pipe painted Aqua, and yet if I put anything not in the filters into the input chest it doesn't pull them out and paint them the default color, they just sit there in the input chest and goes no where. How do I route the unfiltered stuff to the default pipe?
