ME Interface with Boiler

I recently found out that Boilers can pull directly from an adjacent chest, tested this with a vanilla chest being fed with an export bus from my ME network. As expected, the export bus kept the chest fully stocked, and the boiler kept itself stocked with 1 stack of charcoal.

Now as I understand it, the ME interface is treated like a chest because it has its own inventory, allowing other mods to interact with it, but when I put the ME interface next to the boiler, and tell it to export 1 stack of charcoal, the boiler does not pull the charcoal from the ME interface. What am I doing wrong?

Just pop an export bus straight on the boiler.

That's not what ExEvolution was asking about, though. He already stated that he has no issues finding a working setup himself. And he's correct that the interface should be working. If it isn't, I'd try making a bug report directly to AlgorithmX2. Maybe it's a bug he can fix, or maybe there's something about the nature of the ME interface that just prevents it from working like a chest in this case.

I'd bet it's trying to pull the virtual/fake item.
