So I want to limit the chance of peoples quaries or other sorting systems spilling out of enderchests if the receiving chest gets unloaded while the player is offline. This can easily be done with spot loaders, but this of course can be forgetten at times.

So I was wondering, anyone know of a mod or way to make EnderChests act as their own personal spotloader? I'm going to mention it as a possible addition/config setting for EnderStorage, but figured I'd see if anyone knows of an already existing method before I do. I google-fued a bit and couldn't come up with anything.

How about sending an email to to the author, as they do have both chickenchunks and enderstorage as mods they maintain, as a possible option.
They already have the diamond on the lock possibility.
Crafting an ender chest with a spot loader, a texture of golden overlay on the ender chest, so that others know it's there...

I could see him doing it, if enough people asked nicely.

Here's his thread

goodluck

Si, thank you, I'm already planning on doing that, I just started this thread before I did so to see if there was already a method of doing it before I bugged him about it.

Hmm, you think it sounds like good idea but this would really suck on a server where loaded chunks NEED to be rationed.

Then don't use the ones that would chunkload, just because some servers wouldn't use them doesn't mean it's not something that would be useful.[DOUBLEPOST=1379026601][/DOUBLEPOST]
Yep.

There's no way. I was posting my best solution.

While I appreciate the want to help, your best solution was already stated in my original post ;) lol
