I have been wanting to move my base for a long time now as It is on a red rock mountain and Im tired of digging into the mountain to expand and it looking like crap from the outside.

So I looked around for a while and found the PERFECT place for my new base. Its a meadows biome on the edge of a jungle biome so it has a really large nice flat area and a huge cliff face at the edge going to the jungle.

Only 1 problem I just noticed There is one of those Thaumcraft Dirt mounds with the mob spawners in it in the same area.

What kind of negative impact would that dirt mound have on my base? and what Can I do about it?

Thanks.

From your terrain description and the barrow (the "mound") it sounds like you could be using the same world seed as me AND building in the exact same place. My base is about 30 blocks away from a barrow and there have been a good number of wisps spawn from it over the time I've been there (I had 10 to deal with in the barrow at the same time at one point) but since I planted a silverwood tree on that side of my base I haven't seen or heard any wisps since. You'll be fine. In any case, the wisps are a good source for the wispy essence you need for some TC recipes anyway.

Heh, it's the first thing that shot into your head. Try and guess.

You can drown them, they'll spawn in water.
