Magic World and Flying Items

There I was, playing around in the Magic World pack while I waited for some of the new packs to release for 1.4.6 when all of the sudden that piece of glowstone dust that fell past me towards the lava suddenly stopped mid fall and came flying back to my inventory. "Strange" I think to myself and link book my way back home to test this oddity further.

So I run around my front yard just dropping item after item on the ground without stopping. After about a stack of cobble i turn around and an army of cobblestone is flying/bouncing its way towards me, and promptly hopped into my inventory.

Just curious what mod is doing this and why it's happening.

Have you accidentatly turned on Magnetmode in NEI?
Open your inventory and check if the the magnet-symbol in the upperleft corner is marked blue.
Otherwise i wouldn't know which mod may cause this.

Sounds like magnet mode to me.

Freaks me out sometimes when I'm in caves.
Large thing flying towards me. I'm whipping out my sword and readying for attack xD

Sure enough. Didn't even know about the Magnetism mode.
Glad that's all sorted, too bad it's a part of NEIs cheat mode.... feels like a cheat to use it now =(

Might have to use it anyway and RP it in as a part of the "Magic" of the magic world experience =P

You can use it in utility mode. Don't know how different that is to recipe mode.

Also. You can turn it on in cheat mode then change mode and it will keep it on for you.
