Magic bees metallic branches?(Spoilers)

I have been trying for a few days to get up into and of the metallic branch of magic bees(Because 152 WGT does not have extrabees) and have had a tough time getting any of them.

I went into creative and set up a bunch of oblivion/metabolic framed apiaries and must have done about 200 cycles, still can't get cuprus, ferrous, or the tin bees, which are all made with a industrious drone+ something else(usually a mundane). But at any rate I can not get and of the metallic mutations, is there some special aspect to it that is not listed?

Just a blind guess, try putting ferrous ore near the apiary if you want a ferrous bee and so on.

Edit: ferrous is the iron bee, I will try with an iron block near

I'll have to do some testing with magic bees, I've never used them before.

Yeah it was my first time using them as well and I can't seem to find any current info on it

it was named thaumic bees before, try looking up info on that.

The feed the beast wiki says that it is only a 10% mutation chance, maybe you're just really unlucky?
