Details of the issue:
I have been trying to run FTB Lite 3 and I'm getting really low fps at around 8 to 15. I'm trying to run it on my laptop. spec are i7 3630QM @ 2.4 GHz 8 GB ram NVidia GForce 660M 2GB. Is my system not fast enough? I can run Skyrim and Fallout NV with 60 + mods on max setting no problem. I tried changing the ram usage, dropping the in game settings right down and still same fps. Is there something I'm missing?​
 
It's probably using your integrated graphics instead of the dedicated graphics.

With the latest NVIDIA drivers the option for forcing use of the dedicated GPU should be under:

1. Nvidia Control Panel
2. Manage 3D settings
3. Global settings
4. Switch the drop-down menu from Auto to NVIDIA
5. Reboot your PC

If you just want a specific executable to use the NVIDIA GPU: Use the Program settings tab. If the executable is not listed browse for it and add it.
I always recommended forcing the dedicated GPU for a specific executable (in this case Java) and not globally.
