Lost inventory etc. after someone changed my username

Running Infinity Evolved on my own server. My Mojang ac got hacked over night & my username changed. Only notiched when I couldn't log on as name wasn't whitelisted. Turned whitelist off, logged on and was back at spawn with no inventory.

Inventory data still exists on the server (found the UUID dat file). If I add myself to whitelist in SSH it adds it with my old UUID, but when I try to log onto the server it won't let me & it shows a different UUID in console.

Whitelist.json shows new username & original UUID but both usernamecache.json & username.json show old username with old UUID & new username with a UUID that doesn't appear to be linked to anything (according to mcuuid.net)

Proper frustrated with this (partially with myself). Now set-up extra securite on Mojang account but stuck with stupid name for 30 days.

But - more importantly, anything I can do to sort out this UUID issue & get my progress/inventory & whitelist access back?

SOLVED!

Turns out when I turned the server offline, for whatever reason it didn't save the change to turn it back online.

Stopped server. Deleted usernamecache.json, put server on-line, rebooted & now back in my original spawn point with original inventory.

Now all I have to do is wait 30 days til I can change my name back.
