Windows .jar Lose all items in inventory after server update, unexpected force closure of server

Hi guys,

I updated my DW20 Modpack to 1.14 and logged in and my map is all fine but i lost all my inventory items, so i just recreated everything. I have lost all my player data include thaumcraft research and everything? now i had a power failure while playing my game and came back up to having no items again?? what could be the cause to this? its really frustrating!
 
thats what I thought so I replaced a backup of my player profile but its like it doesnt recognise it and over rights the one with a blank profile

thanks i will do that but i hate having to do that! cheat that is... i wanted to try the new TC4 right the way through :( its this sort of thing that makes me want to stop playing minecraft. i understand its a beta etc but meh.... /rant over
