Is there a mod that adjusts sea level, so that default sea level is 128 instead of 64, so that there is more depth to the world for mining? Sure less room for mountains, but double the space for placing ores and underground exploration.

Also, what quarry options are available? Looking for something like the BC quarry (or better) which actually builds something and animates, but that isn't a magic block. I want to destroy the landscape, never mind about performance or magically turning what you've mined to dirt or auto-voiding "junk".

Any other tech mods that add "something new" beyond what IC/TE/IE/Mek already offer?

Some way to rename mobs (vanilla and mod added) and adjust their drops?

Some way to disable the vanilla nether portal system and have a more "hi tech" way of getting there?

My goal is to make a more tech experience where RF generation is more important in your daily minecraft life instead of just to power a few machines and toys. RF becomes a resource you have to manage.

Second goal is to adjust the mobs to a more "futuristic" style/setting by adjusting textures, drops and spawn rules.

I believe if you create a custom world in vanilla you can adjust the sea level, Look into RFTools for the first two after that, and request the last one in the mods request thread
