Looking for slime chunks in Ultimate?

I noticed, in the ultimate mod pack, that the mini map doesn't even offer the option of turning on or off slime chunks. I have also noticed that slimes don't seem to be spawning in any specific places... Are there even slime chunks anymore? Or are they just spawning randomly now like most every other mob? Or am I just blind and missing the option in the map options?

They spawn in swamps.

There are definitely still slime chunks, my base goes down to bedrock and there are always slimes there.

get rid of voxel and add rei's and you can turn the slimechunks option back on.

Or you can just use the factorization hardware and make your own slime.

They spawn in swamps.

This is usually what I suggest for people that want some slimes. Bring a soul shard, and a decent soul stealing weapon, and you'll have a T5 slime shard faster than something that would take around two hours to do at the most, and an hour to do at the least.

I did not know they spawned in swamps. Day or night? Or just at night? Basically I want a soul shard maxed out on slimes to use to work other shards up.
