My friends and I ( max of 10 people ) Just purchased a server, we are not new to mine craft, and we are looking for a mod pack that has RPG elements with quests and bosses, similar to mad pack 3 but something that can be used in multiplayer. We all have solid computers and love ascetics, use of tech and magic is a plus.

Try Sprout. In scavenger mode a lot of blocks/items do not have crafting recipes. You have to explore and find NPCs to trade for the stuff you need.

It's a very cool pack with the way it's put together.
 
That modpack Looks awesome! It seems like something im going to try single player, im looking for something with skill progression, and a bit more tech/magic elements.

I however ill try sprout for sure, it looks like a great single player experience
