Problem Looking for a good tutorial for setting up a private server.

My friend and I want to set up a server for Agrarian Skies that only he and I will play on and i'm having trouble finding a clear and concise tutorial for doing so. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

1- down load server
2 - open the port you plan to let it run on
3 - open serverstart.bat (maybe name different) and set the ram you want it to use ---2 min
4 - get your ip and give it to who ever is going to lo on
