Hi all,
I was playing on an unleashed server earlier today then experienced massive packet loss. I logged out as it was unplayable and started doing tracert and other things to see where the problem was. It finally calmed down and I tried to log in and got the dreaded "Invalid Username or Password" error. I figured the login server was down so went and did other things for a bit, came back and still had it. I checked my profile on the ftb launcher and my password had a bunch of extra character stars "*" in it.
Why would that happen? The only thing I have done to the launcher or ftb files is add the Soartex texture pack and updated the lwjgl audio files. I just ran a boot time virus scan the other day so I know I am clean there. I also did a clean reinstall of windows less then a week ago trying to fix the lag around lava and when it rains. Wish I would have turned the sound off for minecraft before I did that but that's all water/lava under the bridge now. Thanks for any help
