That did not fix it. @ SuzleQ, but thanks. I tried reinstalling FTB several times actually.
What finally fixed the error for me was... TIME.
Therefore I think I know the reason / the problem and even the fix... (for several similar problems of this nature)
1. The reason:
- I was trying to log in with my friend's minecraft account because he said he had forgot his password so I tried several possible ones. That might have resulted me in getting my IP banned for a "certain time".
2. The problem:
-I believe that vanilla minecraft is supposed to give a different error (something in the likes of: you have tried to insert a wrong password too many times or access restricted sth), but FTB just calls it a "login error" and gives the only reason it can: "invalid password/username".
*Disclaimer: I am not yet entirely sure about this and I am not saying that there is such a bug in FTB client. But it COULD be what was happening due to logical deductions from "the reason"
3. The fix:
-After trying a lot of different methods only time helped. If "the problem" is correct, then another fix for this error would be to FTB crew to improve the client. (Again, I am not 100% sure this is the case)
So if any FTB-client modifiers or people who have more knowledge about the coding of the said client happen to stumble upon this topic please let us know if that might have been the case.
Thanks!
