Hey All,
So I have a 36 HP boiler creating steam, and I have a giant 9 x 9 x 8 steel tank in my FTB unleashed world. I counted that I would need 8 liquiducts to keep up to my boiler, but I wanted to find a better solution. I decided to try liquid tesseracts. I heard from somewhere that they have infinite input/output but from my testing that doesn't seem to be the case. (maybe) I have 4 hooked up to the boiler (each on different frequencies) and its nowhere close to keeping up with it. My question is: Are the Steel Tank Valves my system bottleneck or is it the tesseract? If you have any other suggestions for moving steam faster/more quantity please inform me. Thank You!

[EDIT] I'm getting tons of different answers on how much steam a Liquiduct can move per tick, so my 8 liquiduct calculation is probably wrong

Attach one liquid tesseract on the boiler, surround the tesseract with 8 liquiducts.

That is how I did mine.

The issue in this case is not how much you can move through a liquiduct or a tesseract. The issue is how much a boiler actually outputs per face. And that number is 80 mB/t per block.

As a result, if you place a liquid tesseract against a boiler, it is connected by that one face and receives 80 mB/t at most. If you want to move the full 720 mB/t the 36 HP boiler outputs, you need to let it output on 720 / 80 = 9 faces. Which is pretty much the setup PierceSG described: one tesseract, 8 liquiducts around it in a ring.

Ohh ok that makes sense, thanks! I did what PierceSG said and it worked. I was still confused why his works, but now confusion is no more.

Sorry, not good at explaining stuffs. :p
Glad someone did help explain where that works. :D
