Summary of the problem Lightning Reagent

What is the bug? Whilst making Lightning Reagent. dumping a Block of redstone, block of gold, block of iron, one gunpower, and a binding agent into water and then having it struck by lightning. the reagent appears for a mere second then dissappears. i tried this multiple time and it did the same thing every time.

Is it repeatable? yes, attempted this "ritual" 3 times to no avail.

If you do it with Psi, the items will most likely "poof".

I did not use Psi. The lightning used was vanilla for the most part (using a command for 2/4 tries) and i tried it twice with the thunder caller more recently. every time the items get consumed, but no reagent was spawned
