Lifespan of bees

My question is in forestry bees.. Does the bees ever die? Meaning if throw a princess and a drone in to make a queen, then it does it's job, then get a princess and 2 drones back. Then throw the princess and a drone back in......repeat the cycle over and over do the bees eventually fizz out? Leaving no princess and no drones?

There are two types of princesses ... pristine and ignoble. Ignoble will eventually die (after a random but fairly large number of cycles) but pristines never die.

I should mention that the number of cycles you get out of an ignoble can be very large, and may (depending on fertility) allow you to build up enough of a stock of drones that you can then turn a pristine princess of a different species into a pristine of that drone type via repeated breeding with pure drones.
