Launcher question

Afternoon all,
Just testing building a modpack for my friends and family, was curious, what is the default permgen on the FTB launcher? Also how easy is it to be modified? I only ask as right now my pack only runs smoothly on 256mb or higher it seems (gonna get some family to test it on other machines to confirm).

The default for 64 bit systems with over 2 gigs of ram is 256mb. The default for 32 bit systems is 128.

Thank you, so basically anyone with 64-bit java enabled uses 256mb. Glad to hear that, is there a way to increase this, should I need to for any reason? (the guys I am sortin the pack for like LOTS of mods lol)

Well, no, not really. It's hard coded into the launch code.

In theory you can try manually adding the argument in the advanced tab of the launcher, but then it's basically random which one java will use.

I've only had trouble with it in two cases though, out of hundreds, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I do have one other question, on the submit page, the server pack is optional, just to confirm, if I dont upload a server pack there wont be a server download option on my pack right?
