Bug Launcher Permission Problems

After installation, the launcher opens for a moment, before subsequently crashing.

After that, the permissions on some of the files (specifically, the FTBApp executable, the bin directory, and the Java executable in jre) change so that I can no longer even read the files (or look at the permissions properly), meaning I can't launch the program or delete it.

Did you install the application as administrator/elevated on your machine?
