Okay, I've been playing around my base for quite a while, made a lot of things, a whole AE2 automatization, lots of ender IO stuff, Enderman and witch farm, emerald farm, sheep farm, mystcraft portal nexus(automated with red alloys). And just made a big reactor yesterday night(along with that emerald farm I mentioned earlier). I got like 50 magmatic dynamos hooked to a power line and everything was working great. Suddenly. This morning, I log onto the server, my FPS dropped DRAMATICALLY up to 25-37 fps max. It used to be around 100-120 all the time. I do have a great PC and the server is stable. It's just that my base suddenly started lagging as hell! Does anyone know how to check what is causing this lag? I can post screenshots of the base if needed. It used to be all great untill today morning and I want to get this fixed asap so I can play on 60 FPS atleast. Any help?

Any big open blocks tanks? Sky blocks from openblocks? Tons of microblocks/carpenters blocks?

There's one open block tank for a smeltery. Not using sky blocks. And there's like maybe a bit less then a stack of carpenter/microblocks. Should I try removing those?
EDIT: Tried removing them, helped a bit, not a lot. Still having FPS issues.

Try seeing if there's one of those openblocks build helpers with a big radius. It's a semi-common prank to place one in somebody's base and set it for a gigantic radius, thus butchering FPS.

Enable opis in the mod list. Log in and type /opis. Opis is a profiler that gives pretty detailed info on most everything. If for example theres a single block causing the lag ( such as the above guide ) youll even have an exact coordinate.

OPIS helps very little with FPS problems. Only TPS.

In many cases though, they are both caused by the same thing. It's certainly not a be all end all solution, but it is extremely simple and can find a large number of problems very quickly. This makes it an ideal starting point, instead of jumping right into random speculation.
