Summary of the problem Lag Due to AutoHammerers

Pack Version 3.0.0

What is the bug? I've noticed that when having 6 autohammerers it causes a bit of a FPS drop due to chunk updates. Especially when they are loaded up with enchanted diamond hammers.

Is it repeatable? Set up an autohammerer set up. Feed in cobble, wire them up with item conduits and power. Put in enchanted diamond hammers and watch chunk updates increase a lot.

Known Fix remove autohammers, use other things to crush.

I had this same problem except with sagmils and 1 auto hammer ( from sand to dust)

Darkosto told me to hit F12 in game and try a different algorithm. (It restarts MC) fixed my issue for the most part. I'm not dropping from 600 fps or more to 30 or under. Was a stable ~400 more or less around then. Even when building other things in same chunk

Up until I created my auto-compressed hammer setup in SF3 my fps was just fine. I was looking for all the possible causes and I couldn't find it until I learned that the auto hammers can create lag, especially the auto-compressed hammer. Using the regular auto-hammers it wasn't really a problem for me. But I wish there was a better way to break the cobblestone gravel and sand down, it especially sucks because previous versions of sky factory had thermal expansion and ex-nihilo changed the pulverizer recipes. I might just use a ModTweaker script to change the sag mill recipes if I can.

I actually just added a mod that helped me a lot with the lag. It's called Parallel, and it's supposed to help MC run better on multi-core computers (vanilla MC is single-threaded). Since my CPU is multi-core I decided to add it to see if it would help and it did.
