Title Java RAM Settings Won't Save

Details of the issue In the Minecraft Launcher, I edit the available memory to 6144 for 6GB and save it. It works as a one time use, but when I close Minecraft, it resets the memory to use back to 4096 for 4GB the next time I run it.

You should set memory on the curse app.

Open settings, select minecraft on the left side and then scroll down a bit on the right side.

Use the slider to set memory.
