when i press the ftb launcher to open this error pops out. the ftb launcher never opens. what i should do?

Did you restart your PC after reinstalling java? Which version of Java do you have? What operating system?

this problem started when i updated java 71 to java 73.
i reinstalled java and restarted the pc but still the same error

You're running Windows I assume?

Did you try downgrading?

Uninstall the newer version and use a different older one. This is Java 1.8 right?

yes, but the only older version i have is 65 and then i cant verify it because it needs update

Try using Java 7.
