When I try to open FTB or the normal launcher, the javaw.exe process don't appear in the Task Manager, and when I test the Java version, it say that crashed.

How do I fix it, I've made no changes, it just don't start anymore.

Ok, followed the guide, but nothing happend, still not working.
And let me repeat, I was playing one day, then I closed, when I tried to open it again, it just don't open, and the antivirus isn't blocking it.
The javaw.exe process appear for only one second, then close itself.

I do understand what you're saying, and I'm not accusing you of causing it in any way, promise. Just trying the easy steps first.

I said that I followed the guide, but even Java 6 don't work anymore, it crashes right after the PC is turned on and theres no way to open again. The problem isn't with the FTB folder, cause I already tried to run Spiral Knights and the javaw.exe process still terminating itself in a half second after open.

I just can't buy another computer because I bought a Xbox half a week before java malfunction, so, no money left.

Ok, we can work through this with you.

What I need you to do is open up your Programs list (Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features)

Please scroll down to J, and take a screenshot of the window, then post it here.

Have you updated any other programs on your computer since the last time you remember Java/FTB working?

Also, it wouldn't hurt to run a full virus scan ;)

Java is instaled, but the Java tab under Control Panel don't open too, and no, I haven't updated anything that would interfer in Java work.
And one other thing: why my notebook have 3gb of ram, but I'm limited to 764mb, while using 1gb makes it crash.

I would greatly appreciate it if you did things as I asked, rather than just explaining it.
I'd like to see that screenshot.

The screenshot comes tomorrow, I'm not using the computer anymore today. The cellphone keyboard makes hard to edit posts.

Java 7U45.png

It's gonna be hard to play because the notebook is my father's one, and when classes are back, he will carry it to work all the day.
As this notebook uses Update 25, I'll try to degrade it on the PC.

You have the 32 bits version of Java installed. Please uninstall this one and install the 64bit version instead.
Do you mean instal 64bits Java in a 32bits OS? [edited, apologizes], cause if I had a 64bits system, I wouldn't have that Java version, makes sense?

Apology accepted... Minecraft addiction can be a b*tch. ;)

Can I ask another silly question? Have you restarted the laptop? I ask this because some of my customers believe that closing their laptop is the same as switching it off.

Closing 'causes it to turn of', but only for a quick restart. And I was feeling bad because I was trying to defend myself from verbal bullying in Grand Chase pvp chat, with no result.

And there is one of the reasons I don't really do voice chat.

Of course, I've always found it more productive to just shoot the annoying ones anyway ;) Er, in game, of course.

My advice at this point would be a total reformat and reinstall of Windows. I might be able to sort you out if I physically had the machine, but this doesn't sound like a problem that's really going to be solved post-by-post, at this rate.
