Windows .exe Java 1.6.0 needed?

I recently upgraded my java because it was kinda old, and i was having problems using some websites. Now I can't start Minecraft FTB launcher anymore. Theres no start up screen, I immediately get the following message:
Launch4j
This application requires a Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0

Downgrading Java is no option, so i was wondering if someone knows how to get around this?

ps: I tried redownloading the launcher, but I got the same problem again.

Ok, i just made an account specifically to answer this for you.

My resolution was to install the java JDK rather than just the JRE. You can find it here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html

It also contains the latest JRE files too, so it keeps things up to date. Let me know if this works

The OP is using windows, therefore:
You need to be using java 7, update 21 (JRE)
