Items follow me, automatically pick up items from far away

Hi, I am hosting a server for a friend and I on FTB Endeavour.

Whenever I drop an item, it follows me until I automatically pick it up, I also pick up items from far away. This makes it impossible for me to give items to a friend, and I also keep picking up resources they have harvested if I am anywhere near that player. How do I turn this off? It is very annoying.

This sounds like an item magnet of some sort. If you don't have such an item on your person, I don't know what might be causing that.
