Item search?

I've lost my Gravity Gun. I know I put it in an inventory somewhere, maybe I dropped it in one of my Project Workbenches, or a chest, it might even be in a turtle somewhere. How can I find it? Are there any mods or utilities to search for an item?

nope, sort your chests better next time

Double-click the NEI search bar, and type in the item's name, or a part of it. Now in your inventory or any inventory you open, all items will be greyed out, except for those matching the name you entered. Double-click the NEI search bar to return to normal functionality.

Good idea. No luck though. I suspect I've really lost it, it's conceivable that I died with it and didn't manage to pick it up when I got back to my loot. Oh well, they aren't that expensive.
