Issues with day and night time lighting

I'm using the direwolf20 mod pack. During the night, it's as if there is a mod keeping it extremely bright, almost like daytime and during the day, there is a line across the screen, when I look up it basicallycreates its own horizon. I wanted to know if anyone could tell me which mods these are and how to turn them off. Thank you.
 
There should not be any mod in the pack that causes that.

Have you added or removed any mods (this includes optifine)?
