So. I've been having real difficulty with power, and i had an idea to pump lava in the nether, then turn it into energy with a geothermal generator. But it seems theres no recipe for iron plates, to create liquid loaders/underloaders, But i would really like an energy loader/unloader, any help with this.
I'm also planning to make a nuclear reactor, is there a page with good setups?

Mindcrack Pack, you didn't update to v6? Without the NEI Plugins mod, the Rolling Machine recipes don't show up in NEI. The plates are made in the Rolling Machine.

four ingots in a rolling machine should do it for ya for iron plates. I would go to the railcraft wiki for the rest of the recipes
