is there a way to make a high speed train actually turn in corners?

well, i'm using the mindcrack modpack that has the traincraft mod which contains some really fast trains(carts...).
is there a way to make the train actually be ably to make the turn instead of just flying out of the tracks?
if not, is there a way to slow it enough that it will be able to make the turn?

Highspeed tracks are part of Railcraft, not Traincraft.

But yes, there is a way - using high speed transition tracks to slow you down to normal before the turn.

Aren't you able to slow most trains manually by just controlling their speed while inside? Or maybe there are some limiter tracks...Honestly easiest way is to google the traincraft / railcraft wiki, I'm pretty sure you can find answers there.

you need the traincraft reinforced tracks for the electric high speed train from traincraft. (boy that thing is fast)
