I'm playing the mindcrack pack, SSP, and currently only have 15-20 fps when standing at my base. Normally I don't have framerate issues, the game is perfectly fine if I go anywhere else. This seems weird for me, because my whole base is chunkloaded, so I don't really get why I'm only getting the low framerate while I'm there.
I don't have any Timers set anything quicker than 3 seconds. I don't have any computers or turtles running loops (without at least 5 seconds of sleeping). I don't have any mobspawners at my base, I built them elsewhere, and I don't even have them chunkloaded currently.
My base is just a couple of blocks above bedrock, in an area I dug out completely with a flter. Then I built a layer of glass at ground level to not hear the rain but to avoid the void fog.
I do have some machines, MJ and EU power generators, Recycles, a sorting system using barrels and redpower2, but all of these are running without any problem when I'm elsewhere. I also made a world backup, then destroyed every machine, tank, most of the wires, tubes, conduits, liquiducts, even the wrathlamps. Even after that my framerate only went up to 20-25.
This makes me think that there must be some graphical issue with something. Maybe because I'm at bedrock in a giant hole, somehow I can see too many blocks? Or can it be that the Xycraft bricks are causing this (I use plenty of those down there)? I'm pretty much running out of ideas. I tried optifine, it didn't really help, but crashed my game every second time I went through a nether portal.
Is there a diagnostic tool, or something, to help me figure out what is causing the low framerate?
Also, if I can't solve this, I figure, I'll have to move. I'm thinking of a void mystcraft age... the only problem is that mystcraft is currently not in the pack. Can I add it manually, or are there issues with it?
