I was just wondering if there was a guide that showed what you need to research and in what order for certain things like the Infusion alter? Meaning in what order should I do the research for say the Euclidaisy or Infusion Enchantments?

Sometimes I would rather skip some of the stuff I don't need or want and go strait for the research I need but I can't find any guide that will show what I need verses what I can skip for certain types of research.

The first two things I ALWAYS without fail research first, are the two reseraches on researching (Reasearch Expertise and Mastery) While i'm there I usually grab Deconstruction table, as it's useful when scannable things start to dry up.

For Infusion, you need to grab Nitor and Alumentum, then Essentia Distillation. Athough not required to research infusion, you'll need a better than iron/wood wand to actually make the alter. You'll need to research Greatwood wand cores and gold wand caps in order to get a wand you can actually make the alter with.
(EDIT: Again, although not needed to actually make or even use the alter, Alchemy golems can make your life alot easier when melting down aspects for infusion.)
There is also a Thaumcraft Cheat Sheet which while is a WIP, and doesn't (at least currently) include addons, its a good reference for pretty much everything Vanilla. Infusion crafting itself unlocks a whole slew of things to research and make across both Thaumcraft and it's addons, and it often one of the earlier researches I do.

For research I've also found the Thaumcraft 4.x Research Helper to be immensely helpful, particularly if you have zero interest in playing the mini-game legitimately for every research item. Its nice because you can lock out aspects that you are missing or low on and it will trace a half-decent route without them if possible.
