Request is it possible to settup tekkit so you can play from usb?

this feature would be very beneficial if we could do it because it would save a lot of space on the computer thus keeping the bulky files on an external hardrive of some sort. if it is possible then how can this be achieved?

I am quite sure it can be done if you just move the launcher, java, and the mod packs to any secondary storage device (spare disk/drive, USB, or etc). Just be sure you reconfigure the launcher if it need to "know" where things are.

alright well i don't normaly touch the config's so if i could get a guide of sort sort it would be a bit easier to figure it out

Sorry but I haven't used the launcher personally for this purpose. But there should be an option/setting thingy that you can change the file path of where to look for java and the Tekkit contents. You will want to seek in Tekkit community for in detail instructions on how to do this.
