is it possible to add recipes without a client side mod?

Basically what I want to do is add and edit some recipes involving the alkahest items and the EE3 items. Basically so my server and incorperate other mods ie ic2 tin and copper conversions or combiniing them with the tome of alkahest. I wondered if this was possible to do, without producing a file that my players had to download and install to play the server.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

No, there's no way to add a recipe without using client-side code.

There should be, but there isn't.
